WING was recognised by the professional community again at the 14^th Real Estate Awards, a major real estate market event. Every year companies and projects on the property market are acknowledged and awarded for leading the way, and shaping the office market and corporate culture, while creating value on the Hungarian market. This year the event returned to the Pesti Vigadó. At the gala on 29 February, WING won awards in the following categories: Upcoming Hotel Development of the Year and Developer of the Year.

The Real Estate Awards recognised achievements and projects from 2023. Last year WING was active in the office, industrial and logistics, hotel and residential segments as well. The first phase of the mixed-use Liberty project, the A2 industrial hall in East Gate Pro and the Park West 2 residential development were all completed in 2023. Ongoing construction projects included the Liget Center office complex, the HOP Technology Office Park, theTRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel , and the Park West 3, Kassák Terrace and Le Jardin residential developments. In addition to strengthening its presence in Hungary, the Group continued its expansion on the international market as well. Last year WING also completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Bauwert, the renowned German residential and commercial property development company. With this acquisition and with the majority stake it already had in the Polish company ECHO Investment, WING has become one of Central Europe’s leading property development and investment groups. Currently the Group has a development portfolio of a total of 5.17 million square meters in three countries.

In the Upcoming Hotel Development of the Year, WING was awarded for its TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel project. Building on the professional recognition and successful operation of the ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel, which was the first hotel in Hungary with direct access to an airport terminal, another WING development is bringing a new TRIBE hotel to the airport. The project is expected to be completed in 2025. The new airport hotel will be the second TRIBE hotel in Hungary, following the TRIBE unit in Liberty, the mixed-use building developed by WING. TRIBE is a leading brand of trendy, affordable, elegant and functional hotels. With its wide range of services, the hotel will primarily cater to the needs of business travellers and transit passengers, with a focus on making guests comfortable.

On top of all this, WING Group was ranked first in the Developer of the Year category as well, in recognition of its decades-long history and outstanding projects and developments.
