WING’s development, Skylight CITY, receives BREEAM certification
Skylight CITY, an office building developed by WING, has received a Very Good rating under the BREEAM In-Use sustainability certification scheme. The certification highlights the water and energy efficient management and operation of the building, the features that promote the well-being and health of its users, and the green environment, as well as the amenities provided to tenants and visitors.
Skylight CITY, a seven-storey office building that WING developed on Róbert Károly körút, has received a Very Good rating under the BREEAM In-Use sustainability certification scheme. Sustainability and the environmental impact of its buildings are key focus areas for WING, which is a major property development group on the Central European property market. WING has been constructing its major developments with a commitment to sustainability for over ten years now. Also, the buildings it has completed in the past are continuously being modernised.
BREEAM-In-Use is a sustainability-based certification scheme for completed buildings, covering nine sustainability categories. Skylight CITY received the best scores for energy and water efficient management and operation, the green environment, the preservation and potential future conversion of the building, and its focus on the well-being and health of its users.
“Making sure developments are environmentally friendly is now practically essential. Tenants define very specific parameters and make conscious decisions when they are looking for new offices. To meet its tenants’ expectations and to progress towards its goals, WING operates its office portfolio with a special focus on the environmentally friendly and certified operation of its office buildings. The Skylight CITY office building receiving the BREEAM certification is another step for WING as we strive to reduce our ecological footprint and build a more sustainable future,” said Gábor Angel, WING Zrt’s Deputy CEO for office developments.
Skylight CITY is in an excellent location on Róbert Károly körút, making it easily accessible both by car and public transport. The office building is an inspiring, environmentally friendly oasis in the middle of the city. It has been architecturally and functionally reconstructed and meets current market requirements. It is also an aesthetically pleasing and utilitarian place to work and visit. As the building is on a corner it has excellent views, and its glass curtain wall and granite facades make it a distinctive part of the cityscape. The eye-catching, light and spacious inner atrium with an exhibition space, a café and a snack bar is a unique part of the office building.
New Tenants to Move into WING’s Liberty Building this Summer
Four new tenants will be moving into Liberty, WING’s mixed-use development, in summer 2024. The new tenants will have access to a number of services in the complex, in which the occupancy rate of retail areas is now 100%.
LIVING delivers its 1000th apartment
With the completion of its 1,000th apartment, LIVING, WING’s umbrella brand for residential developments, has reached a major milestone. The residential developer currently has three ongoing projects in Budapest’s 13th District, and the total number of LIVING apartments delivered since the company was established and that are currently under development is close to 2,000. LIVING focuses on smart and sustainable solutions, energy and cost-efficiency, and the individual needs of its clients. It uses this approach in all of its developments.

The third hall of East Gate PRO Park was completed last year, and now there is a long-term pre-lease agreement for the fourth hall, B2. The 9,000-square-meter building, a build-to-suit (BTS) development with a pre-lease agreement, is to be completed by the end of 2024.
