Another international tenant will move into the mixed-use Liberty building developed by WING in the fall of 2024: Flowserve Hungary Services is a domestic subsidiary of Flowserve Corporation, one of the world’s leading providers of fluid motion and control products and services. Operating in more than 50 countries, the company produces engineered and industrial pumps, seals and valves as well as a range of related flow management services. Under the contract, the new tenant will move into the 5th floor of the building, with an office space of 2,550 square metres.

The mixed-use Liberty building will welcome itsnew international tenant from the fall of 2024. The Hungarian subsidiary of the American multinational company Flowserve Corporation has signed an office lease contract for 2,550 square meters in the building on Könyves Kálmán körút. The choice of a modern and high-quality office was a priority for the future Tenant, and Liberty will provide new headquarters for the company’s 260 employees, taking into account the specific needs of its tenants and offering a variety of services. Flowserve Hungary was represented by Knight Frank Hungary in the leasing process.

This agreement is another important milestone for the building, further enhancing Liberty's reputation and demonstrating the building's ability to attract tenants committed to innovation and efficiency. The diverse range of services, the outstanding infrastructure of the new mixed-use office-hotel building and the green solutions all provide an excellent opportunity for those looking for a state-of-the-art office, a unique combination in Budapest today. The Liberty and the Telekom building developed by WING already represent a remarkable dimension of office space available for rent, and consequently, Népliget and its surroundings have recently been repositioned from a previously less valued location to a highly prestigious office submarket” said Gábor Angel, Deputy CEO of WING Zrt, responsible for offices.

“When choosing our new office, our primary goal was to move to a location with excellent accessibility and to select an office where we could work in a high-quality environment with reduced carbon footprint. Our premise will be tailored to our specific needs, including efficient seating and our plan to create multifunctional areas to support hybrid working in the new office. The move also marks a milestone in our company's operation, as we were previously based in two locations, and now, thanks to the Liberty complex, we can continue our daily operations in one location, in a single office in Budapest” said Gergely Molnár, Managing Director of Flowserve Hungary

With sustainable buildings and a variety of quality services that define the image of Budapest, Népliget and its surroundings have become a brand new district that has developed considerably in recent years, and can be exploitedby businesses, employees, local residents and citizens, as well as tourists.

The range of services for the tenants of Liberty will be expanded during the summer. The hotel's premium well-being and convenience services, such as the soon-to-open panoramic rooftop skybar, the TRIBE Table restaurant and café, and conference rooms, are complemented by the Liberty Gourmenza restaurant and speciality café, which are individually designed for employees, as well as the Monza Care premium car wash and detail center. In addition to the services available in the building, Liberty employees will also have access to a number of services in the adjacent Telekom building: on the ground floor, two restaurants offering a varied menu is open to employees working in the neighbourhood, and in the central lobby of the Telekom building, Nor/ma Group will open its newest bakery and café with a refreshed look in spring 2024.

The construction of Liberty as an energy-efficient green real estate was also supported by public funds invested as part of the real estate fund sub-programme of the Baross Gábor Capital Programme. The real estate funds that won the Capital Programme tender process were co-invested by the Hungarian Development Bank, thus contributing to increasing investment activity, improving energy efficiency and implementing green development projects.
