EuropaProperty organised the CRE Real Estate Awards for the 4^th time. The winners of the 24 categories were announced at a gala dinner at the InterContinental Hotel in Budapest. This event celebrates the best buildings, companies, property deals and industry professionals: companies and individuals with the best overall performance in the previous year are awarded.

WING Group, a key real estate developer and investor in the Hungarian and regional real estate market, was ranked 1^st this year in the Retail Developer and Office Developer subcategories of the Company of the Year category, based on recently completed developments and developments in progress. These are the Gobuda Mall shopping centre, the Liberty office and hotel complex, the Liget Center and Auditorium (RTL’s new headquarters), and the HOP Passage office building in Hungária Office Park. In the Project of the Year category, WING’s GOBUDA Mall project was awarded as the best Refurbishment/Extension Project. The 10-month, complete renovation transformed GOBUDA Mall into a modern building with a leasable area of 25,000 square metres that meets the needs of today’s consumers: it has space for around 100 stores, and various services are available. The building has been completely renovated inside and out, and it has new functions: some of the former engineering areas have been converted into offices, while on the roof, a green roof terrace, a roof garden and a playground will be built in the near future.
